Andrew Darfoor is the Group Chief Executive of Alexander Forbes. Previously he was the Chief Executive
Officer at New York-headquartered Sun Life International, leading a group managing $15 billion in assets
across 50 countries in Asia, Middle East/Africa, Europe and the Americas. Other positions held:
President/Chief Executive Officer Old Mutual Bermuda; Regional Financial Controller Old Mutual North
America; Director for Business Development (Emerging Markets) for Credit Suisse AG, Zurich; and Senior
Manager (Business Consulting) at global financial services company E & Y in the UK.
Andrew is an experienced financial services leader with over 20 years’ experience in leading and managing
business transformations across a number of diverse regions including North America, Europe, Middle
East/Africa and Asia.
Andrew holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, Bedford (UK) and a BSc Economics from
Queen Mary College, University of London (UK). He also has the following professional qualifications and
